We are seeking to employ a Care Worker to provide direct one to one care and faciliate an Activity Group for frail older people, in order to provide their carers with a break.

We are seeking people with:

· A Certificate 3 in Community Services /Aged Care or currently undertaking study to obatin the qualification.
. Highly developed communication skills
· The ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Experience in working with people with dementia, younger people with disabilities, frail aged people or people with mental illness
· A Class 1 Driver\'s Licence
· A First Aid Certificate

The positions are based in the Port Augusta and surrounding areas, and may involve travel to locations within these regions.

Applicants would be expected to work, as required, both within and outside of normal working hours. Ongoing training is provided.

The Salary Package Value range after application of full salary sacrificing including meal entertainment = $19.92 to $ 22.15(FTE). The cash gross salary range (before tax) is $15.75 to $17.52 dependent on experience and/or qualifications.
